Geographic Features

Tawaramoto Town is in a flat area surrounded by rivers flowing to the north, the Yamato river to the east, the Tera river in the center, and the Asuka and the Soga rivers to the west. It shows the appearance of a rich rural town.
Tawaramoto Town is surrounded by mountains, and has a typical basin climate with hot summers and cold winters, and is characterized by less rainfall than the surrounding mountainous areas.
