● Discussions
The Main Session was carried out with two themes. Some of member governments gave their case presentations to share their circumstances, problems, and efforts.

• Theme 1: Enhancing regional exchanges and cooperation under the framework of RCEP cooperation　　※ＲＣＥＰ: The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement is an agreement between Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and 10 ASEAN countries. Together, these RCEP participating countries account for about 30% of the global GDP and 30% of the world population. The objective of the RCEP Agreement is to promote trade and investment, and improve supply chain efficiency. The RCEP Agreement will contribute to build an open, faire, and rules-based multilateral trading system.

• The Report by the East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress Secretary General (Nara Prefectural Governor YAMASHITA)
  He announced that the 13th Congress will be held by Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, China at Xi’an City and introduced new member governments (Shiga Prefecture, Japan and Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, China). *Yulin City is planned to join the member government after the 12th Congress.
• Presentation by the Host of the Next Congress
