Geographical Position
Phu Tho is a mid-land and mountainous province of Northwestern part of Vietnam; the province is 50 kilometers away from Noi Bai International Airport and 170 kilometers from Hai Phong seaport; Currently acting as the center of Vietnam Northwestern provinces in the field of economic, culture, education, healthcare, tourism...; being located at confluence of three great rivers (Red, Da and Lo river) and Viet Nam North - South railway system as well as Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway which are very supportive for Hai Phong - Hanoi - Kunming (China) economic corridor development.
Phu Tho is ancestral land of Vietnam with 1,374 cultural historical relics; especially, there are 01 national special relic (Hung King Temple) and 02 intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO: “Hung Kings Worshiping” and “Phu Tho Xoan Singing”.
