Geographic features

Chungcheongnam-do is located in the middle of the Korean Peninsula. It belongs to the temperate zone of the mid-latitude climate with four distinct seasons. On the other hand, it is the gateway of South Korea, which has been passing through Seoul, Busan, Mokpo 1st Route, Gyeongbu / Honam Line, Gyeongbu / Honam Expressway and West Coast Expressway. It is located in 1 hour to the capital Seoul and 3 hours to Busan and Mokpo.
