Kashihara city is roughly located on Nara prefecture and the ups and downs are not much as a whole. Asuka river runs through central part of city, and Soga river runs through western part. With regards to railway network, JR and Kintetsu Line intersect individually. Regarding road network, there are 4 national roads in the city. So, Kashihara city is connected directly with Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Nagoya and Kansai International Airport.
