Nishiyamato Saeki is a restaurant in sukiya-zukuri style on a hill overlooking the Ikaruga area that spreads gently ahead of customers. Customers can see the complete view of Horyu-ji Temple and Mt. Wakakusa far away.

The premises with an area of more than 3,900 m2 are tinted with plants in the four seasons. Each season provides a superb view, including cherry trees covered in blossom in spring, fresh greenery in summer, red leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. Nishiyamato Saeki opened in 1989. Since then, it has been expanding with its branch restaurants opened in Daimaru Umeda Department Store, Daimaru Ashiya Department Store, Kintetsu Main Department Store in Abeno Harukas, and Kintetsu Department in Kashihara, as well as sister restaurants named Bisyokutakuhainin Nanohana and Ryorinin no Obanzai Raku.

Concept of the establishment

Nishiyamato Saeki is a restaurant located in a place with a superb view and its premises have an area of more than 3,900 m2, where customers can see the complete view of the Ikaruga area, including Horyu-ji Temple, and Mt. Wakakusa. Its exciting and luxurious Koto Kaiseki (sophisticated traditional Japanese cuisine) makes full use of the blessing of the four seasons, from which customers will feel the attractiveness of Japan with their five senses. Furthermore, there is a tea-ceremony room, where customers will be able to have a tea party in their tea school style.
